Internet of everything

Internet of Everything

Since the invention of Internet a lot has changed with regards our life style. I guess all respects should be directed to all IT Gurus who took their time to develop Internet and Dr Tim Berners Lee as well who came out with world wide web (WWW).

Lately we are frequently focusing on smart appliances since the idea of Internet of everything. Before Internet of everything (IOE) we had Internet of a thing (IOT), which I think had some limitations since it was half duplex. That means with IOT you could only tell the device to do something but the devices did not have capabilities to tell you the output, since it was a one way road.

Since IOE is full duplex that means you can now interact with your device. That means you can now tell your stove to start cooking at a particular time and when it done it will send signals back to you informing you and shut down. All this means that you can now for instance put milk in the fridge and then set the fridge to notify you if the milk is about to expire (in case you forget). With all that, the fridge will be aware of expire date of every food inside it let you know whenever anything is about to expire or start smelling. Bear in mind that smart appliances device will not come cheap so you should be prepared to pay extra cash and spend more.

Malwarebytes amnesty

Malwarebytes amnesty

This is not just good news but a great one to those who have been using pirated Malwarebytes or unregistered one. Malwarebytes is too kind to give a one year subscription to crooks that have been using their software free of charge.

If you are using a Malwarebytes with fake keys from keygen or any other piracy website, just            re-activate your Malwarebytes and then enter the keys from the following link: www.malwarebytes.com/lp/amnesty. This will give you a one subscription which after that you will have to buy full subscription with only $24.90 (approximately R299.40). By doing this I guess they are trying to minimise the number of pirated software available online and want to see the amount of their software being used free of charge.

I believe that after ding this they will be able to track all those people using their software free of and perhaps to block most of pirated one. The fact is that these folk take their time developing these valuable software and they are making living out of it, that why we must respect them and pay for these software. I know some of them are too expensive and available online free of charge but at least let us pay for first subscription and then bandit the rest because piracy is in our blood.

Why are Hackers targeting indivisuals

Have you ever wondered why Hackers are targeting your personal computers. Hackers are not interested in personal data but they only interested on something that will benefits them, like making them rich in a second. That why they are targeting big companies such as banks and mostly PayPal ones.

The only reason they hack into individuals computers is because they want to use them as a bridge for their evil activities which in this case is hacking, and this method is called botnet. They hack into your computer and once they have full access they then use it to hack into big companies servers then steal crucial information from them. The sad part is that when they get caught you the one who will be in trouble with law enforcements since only your computer will be visible and caught by system administrators.

This is why every must be very careful when using internet because you might find your self in trouble with law enforcements for something you never did.

On my next issue I will give you some tips of how you can see if you have been compromised and how you can prevent it.

Thing you did know about your car

Did you know that any car equipped with remote keyless entry can be unlocked via cell phone? This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by that remote button on your key ring. Should you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home, and you don't have "OnStar," here's your answer that will definitely solve your problem.

If by lucky someone has access to the spare remote at your home, call them on your cell phone.

Hold your  cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone.

Your car will unlock. and it works. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk, or have the "horn" signal go off, or whatever!).

Cloud starage importance

What would you do if you may loose all your data stored in your computer or cellphone? This is one of the problem most people encounter most of the time. Most of us depend on our cellphone to store things such as music, photos and since we are now having smart phones some  of us are even storing crucial document on their cellphone like the one about the project the one might be working on. Just imagine loosing cellphone or computer with all such information maybe due to theft, crush or even natural disasters. Cloud storage was introduced to solve such problems. Cloud storage is where by you store your data on a remote computer or server and you pay monthly services fees. Mostly of the companies have seen the importance of such services and they are now using it. Some people even stores their personal data in cloud storage. From as little as R49 for 20gb space I believe everyone can afford.

WhatsApp Trick

WhatsApp is  the mostly used instant message services globally and this is because it is easy to use and at the same time very cheap as compared to other IMS. Though it has such advantages, there are also bad side of it which is not caused by application itself or it developers but by the users who are using it on a daily basis.

I believe that WhatsApp was developed with one good intention, which was to make connection among people at different places globally, very easy and with affordable prices. The divorces rates has increased and most couples are committing suicide due to WhatsApp messages. Most people are now using instant massages services and social network to find loves and this is not bad at all but it mostly bad if couples are using such services to cheat to their partners. This bring me to the trick which is hidden within whatsapp and which any one can use to find out whether His / Her  partner is cheating or not.

WhatsApp application create folders on your phone in which it stores every messages you convey and whatsapp settings are stored on these folders too. These folders are stored mostly in the memory card on your phone. To view these messages you need to copy the content of the folder to USB and then you must download free file viewer from www.freefileviewer.com . You must install free file viewer in computer which you can then use to read whatsapp messages of your spouse if you think He/She is cheating on you. This is just for learning purposes and you must not try it to people not close to you, as you might go to jail and sentenced.  Remember invading somebodies privacy is illegally.
